Hi, I’m Paula

I am an Independent Celebrant and a member of, both, the Association of Independent Celebrants and the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.

I want to know your story – the people behind the lens so to speak. How you lived and how you love your life, what makes you tick.

Even with a newborn being welcomed into the world, there is a whole story behind their arrival and many hopes for their future.

All of those hopes, dreams and memories can be woven into the hand-crafted ceremony that I will present to you and your guests.

I have as many facets in my personality, as there are sparks in the imagination – creative, romantic, rock chick, retro or bohemian but always happy to dress the part and create that Sense of Occasion for you.

Together we make magic because we all bring to the spell our unique qualities that ensures no two ceremonies will ever be the same. I come with no judgement, but I leave behind memories.

I have always been a people person – I love watching people, eavesdropping on the conversations around me and creating the lives they live in my imagination. I can be funny, quirky, serious, most importantly, for you, I can be the person who helps you create the ceremony which shouts out to the world who you are.

I am based in Newhaven, East Sussex which is very near to Brighton, but I am happy to travel if you need me to.

Choosing the right celebrant is a bit like getting on a dating app and I would really love for you to find me as the right celebrant for you – I could be your swipe right. Contact me without obligation, and you will see why we should be working together.

You have already begun making memories. Tell me all about your love story and let me weave strands of your dreams through it and I will handcraft you a ceremony which truly lets you sparkle on your special day.

Renewal of Vows

Renewal of Vows

Love does not stay static – it flames and it can stay in the shadows until you are ready to declare its strength again – it may be on a significant anniversary or because you now have children and want to renew your vows with their involvement.

Naming Ceremonies

Naming Ceremonies

Ceremonies to celebrate the new-born or the children in your family can be tailored to capture their personality and the hopes and wishes of the family and people who will be important in their futures.

Funerals

Funerals

The way we say goodbye to our loved ones is changing. Planning a funeral can be a daunting task, especially during a time of grief. However, it can also be a meaningful way to celebrate the life of your loved one and create a ceremony that is truly unique to them.
